05 April 2026 - Odin's Shield Week 3 (SEAD/Strike)

Five Black Aces of VFA-41 sortied from USS Abraham Lincoln in two flights in support of Operation Odin's Shield. Dealer 1, consisting of three airframes were tasked to attack a Russian occupied army base in preperation for NATO operations to retake the nearby occupied airbase. Dealer 3 was tasked with localized SEAD support for the attack by Dealer 1.

Dealer 3 launched first and pushed out towards the target area with Dealer 1 on an approximate 50 mile seperation. Dealer 3 was able to ingress into the target area and target SA-8 and SA-15 SAM systems that activated with their HARM missiles. Dealer 3 then freelanced the airfield area with onboard laser guided bombs to futher reduce enemy AAA emplacments, resulting in good effect on sevearl systems and at least one parked aircraft.

Dealer 1 ingressed the area after being cleared in by Dealer 3. All three Dealer 1 aircraft released Mk83 bombs in CCIP mode on various buildings and infastructure in the army base with good effect on target, despite what appeared to be 23mm AAA coming up at them in the dive. After bomb release, Dealer 1 aircraft regrouped near Waypoint 5 before proceeding direct to Mother for a Case 3 recovery.

Dealer 3 stopped off for some mid air gas from a KA-6 tanker before returning Case 3 to Mother themselves. Mission BDA shows nearly all specified targets destroyed despirte low pilot availability. Mission Success!
