Black Ace squadron VFA-41 was recently tasked with a Strike mission to destroy a suspected chemical weapons storage and production facility deep inside Iran near Shiraz.

Two strike flights were tasked for this duty while one additional flight was tasked with SEAD and CAP patrol in front of the strike package. Additional ally CAP and SEAD F-16's were also airborne to assist with the tasking.

Upon target ingress, SEAD flight F16's release HARM anti-radiation missiles and destroyed multiple SAM sites allowing both Strike flights to destroy primary and Secondary objectives as tasked.

Both Air Force F-16's flights were engaged by Iranian F-14s, and multiple ally aircraft were lost, but all bandits were destroyed. One Black Ace pilot was shot down at the AO by a SA-15 during the operation.

Objectives were destroyed and Mission was a success. All remaining aircraft successfully returned Mother.

It was me who was shot down, not Sunshine. I could not tell from Tac View if my second GBU-10 hit any targets, but I don’t think so.
