Dealer 2 launched first and proceeded to the target area. Once overhead, multiple soviet armored and unarmored military vehicles were located on the peninsula, forming up before their overland transit to Soviet bases and fighting positions further south. Two Ropucha class LST ships were also in the water just offshore and appeared to be unloading additional military hardware. Dealer 2 launched a combination of Maverick missiles and Mk20 Rockeye cluster munitions on the Soviet vehicles with several tanks and IFV's destroyed as well as numerous transport trucks and MLRS rocket trucks. At least on of the LST's was struck and damaged as well. Once weapons were expended, Dealer 2 aircraft rejoined and headed to the airborne tanker for a sip of fuel before recovering Case 3 aboard Lincoln.
Dealer 3 launched second after a small delay due to technical issues. Dealer 3 proceeded to their initial point to search for the Soviet convoy, locating it easily in the narrow waters of the fjord. Two of three Dealer 3 aircraft had issues getting their IR Mavericks to lock onto their selected targets and were unable to release weapons. Dealer 3-3 was able to engage and successfully sank two transport ships and one Soviet corvette escorting the convoy. Dealer 3-2 was struck by AAA fire from one of the corvettes and was forced to eject over the frigid waters of the fjord. SAR efforts are ongoing. Once remaining Dealer 3 aircraft hit their fuel bingos, they egressed to the tanker for fuel before recovering Case 3 aboard the Lincoln.
BDA shows a majority of assigned targets destroyed, eliminating a significant portion of planned Soviet reinforcements to the area. Mission Success!
