Three flights of VFA-41 aircraft launched from the expeditionary airfield at Vuojarvi and struck a Red Russian nuclear weapon storage facility.

Due to the hardened bunkers in the target area, 2000# GPS guided bombs with penetrator warheads were utilized to ensure destruction of the primary targets. All three DEALER flights ingressed simultaneously at high altitude at the break of dawn in order to deliver their ordnance and egress before the Russians had time to react.

As the first bombs fell, NATO special forces simultaneously launched a rocket attack on a nearby Red Russian airstrip and Surface to air missile site to ensure the enemy was distracted and unable to mount a rapid response until all allied fighters were safely out of the target area.

Initial BDA reports indicate that all six target bunkers were destroyed and all DEALER aircraft egressed safely and landed back at Vuojarvi.
