VFA-41 transited Turkey from the Black Sea into Incirlik Air Base. After taking fuel and weapons, the squadron organized into two sections and departed for the island of Cyprus to conduct MANPAD evasion training. One pilot from Dealer 2 failed the exercise, getting struck six times by non-lethal MANPADS and managed to successfully RTB at RAF Akrotiri, despite flying a bus for an aircraft as punishment. Dealer 1 successfully completed the exercise, minus one aircraft that reached BINGO before being able to release any weapons. The rest of the squadron successfully landed at RAF Akrotiri.

305 - Crash, landed.
310 - Chaos, training targets, landed.
312 - Raid, landed 10,000 lbs overweight and spewing the signal flare trail of humiliation.
