VFA-41 was tasked with the destruction of the ground forces remaining in the canyon after the earlier strike on the bridges. Due to a limited supply of A/G ordnance and intelligence that the enemy ground forces had formed into groups, cluster bombs were deployed to try and eliminate as much as possible. Unfortunately, the cluster bombs proved to be ineffective. VFA-41 also deployed single target ordnance as well which were effective, but limited in that they could only target one vehicle at a time. BDA determined only 10% - 15% of the enemy ground forces were destroyed.

A pair of SU-24s enter the target area during the attack but were quickly eliminated by aircraft from Dealer 1 and 2.

All aircraft returned to Tbilisi airport.

Mission Limited Success.
