Today's mission was a daytime attack on the Iranian supply line. A flight of four Saudi Tornado IDS made a sweep of the area to suppress and destroy any SAM threats that may be present in the area. It appeared most SAM threats were destroyed but not all.

The Black Aces were tasked with patrolling between waypoints 2 and 3. All ships in the area were to be considered valid enemy targets. Many cargo ships in the patrol area were hit and some destroyed. This mission was a success and a setback for the Iranian supply chain.

One F14 experienced a malfunction shortly after takeoff. The pilot ejected and was safely rescued unharmed.

Six hornets returned safely to mother.
