Proceeding toward our goal of air superiority over the southern Gulf and cutting Iranian supply lines, we will be hitting Al Dhafra Air Force Base tonight. This is one of the largest airbases in the U.A.E. and Iran is currently running both tactical and strategic aircraft out of it. U.A.E. officials have asked us to only do repairable damage to the airfield, as it is one of their major airports. As a result, our main targets will be ammunition depots.

The ammunition depots are located on the north-eastern area of the airport, directly next to the tarmac. F/A-18 waypoints 3, 4, 5, 6 will be placed directly on top of the depot locations at surface altitude, with F-14 surface target navigation point located at the first two depots.
The depots are hardened and will require penetrator or delayed-fuze weapons.

Secondary targets if feasible are any military aircraft parked on the tarmac.
- Due to weapon restrictions from UAE officials, weapons should be restricted to cluster munitions and rockets to mitigate heavy airport damage for secondary targets.

A division of carrier F-14s will depart ahead of your flight and run a fighter sweep to take care of any fighter cover.

Our E-2 Hawkeye will be airborne over Qatar and will advise you of any incoming threats.

Tankers are airborne, but they will be limited to operating within protected airspace over Qatari territory.

Surface Threats:
Possible SA-6 site northeast of target. Probable S-60 AAA sites northeast of target.

Possible SA-18 MANPADs at target.
Probable S-60 AAA sites at target, will likely fire blind barrage.
Known HAWK SAM at target. Known SA-2 SAM at target.

Air Threats:
MiG-29s patrolling on a route 40 miles west, north, and northeast of Abu Dhabi city.

NOTE 1: friendly F-14B fighter sweep (UZI 3-1 flight) skill not guaranteed. Waypoint 2 is far enough to be safe until air threat situation resolves itself. Uzi 3-1 will be on 266.00 AM to aid in situational awareness.
