SITUATION
Satellite imagery has discovered large amounts of Russian forces building at a staging area East of Sochi Airbase.
A Marine Force Recon Team has been deployed to the South above the Russian FOB to gather intel and monitor the Russian movements.
As a result, Intelligence suggests the Russians are planning to invade into Georgia and utilize Georgia soil to give them the range they need for their next attack farther South with long range missiles.
The Marine Recon Team has been monitoring the growing forces over the last several days and has provided intel on the Forward Operating Base.
MISSION
VFA-41 is tasked with perimeter air patrol between waypoints 1 and 2 off the Western coastal waters of Georgia and Russia as a show of force and deterrence to the impending invasion.
The situation is extremely fragile and great care must be taken not to provoke an incident that could lead to war with Russia.
