SITUATION
The US, Norway, Finland, and Britain will conduct a pre-dawn joint-strike against Kilpyavr airfield. Your flight will destroy base repair facilities and hangers, British Phantoms will destroy the runway, Finnish Hornets will sweep the area of air defenses and Norwegian Vipers will strike any parked aircraft on the tarmac. Kilpayvr is home to the Red Russian's only Tu-22M3 Backfire regiment on the Kola.

OBJECTIVE
Timing will be critical in this mission. Your package will have to arrive at Kilpayvr airfield within seconds of other flights to overwhelm air defenses. Your strike will be proceeded by F-14B fighter sweep elements.
Primary targets are airfield facilities and infrastructure like fuel tanks and ammo storage.

Threats & Strategy:
Mobile SAM emissions such as coming from the SA-15 system and SA-19 have been detected recently in the area of Kilpayvr. These will be targeted by the flight of Finnish Hornets, along with SON-9 fire control radars for KS-19 antiaircraft artillery flak guns. Any enemy aircraft in the area will be attacked by a forward-launching flight of F-14Bs from the ABRAHAM LINCOLN.
To ensure a cohesive mission package, the forward sweep elements will be holding 35* nm southwest of your launch position. Once Dealer 1 gets within 2 nm of this waypoint, the sweep element will push forward toward the target area, along with a division of Finnish Hornets (SEAD) orbiting southwest of the target area. Both the sweep and SEAD will push simultaneously together.
This will start a ten minute countdown - once this has elapsed, all other strike divisions (British Phantoms and Norwegian Vipers) will push from their holding orbits and ingress on a low level profile to strike their targets at Kilpayvr. This is your cue for your flights to ingress and attack airfield hangars and other facilities such as fuel tanks and ammo storage. This ingress and strike should take approximately another ten minutes. Code words will be transmitted from OVERLORD to indicate the status of the mission for all flights.

Due to mostly clear weather (though may still be dark) and lack of preprogrammed targets, weapons can be any option of precision guided varieties accompanying ATFLIR, from laser guided bombs to JDAMs to Walleyes, SLAMs, and SLAM-ERs.

Support
A NATO E-3 AWACS will be in overall command and control of this mission and will be orbiting south of Banak. Callsign OVERLORD.
Recovery S-3B Tankers will be launched as well as a supporting USAF KC-135 out of Banak.
Bullseye is Murmansk.

Weather
Sunrise is at 0600 local at CVN-72's position in the Barents Sea. Jet startup is at 0500 local. Ingress into Kola will be dark skies.
