03 August 2025 - Kola Week 10 - Storm Warning

Post by Lion » Sat Aug 02, 2025 12:36 pm

SITUATION UPDATE
Repeated attempts by Red Russian forces to break the blockade around Murmansk have failed, and NATO spokesmen are calling Red losses "heavy". With the blockade now firmly in place, NATO opens a "Neutralization" phase, which is designed to eliminate Red Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) stockpiles and further reduces Red offensive options.

A high ranking Red leader warned NATO that such attacks could have "Grave consequences", and hinted that if threatened, the Red military will not hesitate to use such weapons. However, NATO intelligence believes Red forces currently lack the means to deliver such weapons in large quantities, and are hoping to destroy them before they can be employed.

Elsewhere in Russia, Blue forces defeated Red troops near Moscow after fierce fighting.
The Red survivors were last reported to be fleeing northwards with Blue units in pursuit.

SITUATION
The Red Russian ballistic missile submarines must be neutralized before they can be put to sea. Prior to conducting strikes to destroy the submarines in their hardened sub pens, DEAD missions must be conducted to degrade area air defenses.

MISSION OBJECTIVE
Although we risk nuclear contamination of the area, the threat of Red Russian ballistic missile submarines being put to sea, that are capable of striking targets anywhere in Russia or any NATO member, is unacceptable. The Red Russian leadership has already made veiled threats to the use of weapons of mass destruction if NATO intervenes in, as they term it, "an internal matter." Remove the nuclear card before the Reds can use it.

Fly to the mission area and destroy all detected SAM and AAA sites of radars, guns, launchers, and ammunition trucks. With the systematic destruction of so many SAM radars in previous missions, the loitering capability is significantly enhanced going forward, though attention will still need to be paid for Red aircraft.
