The Red Russians are attempting disperse munitions and other military logistics from Murmansk to units outside the Kola Peninsula. Because Murmansk is the largest logistics center in the Kola region, The National Security Council has placed the ports and airfields of the city under military-blockade. It is the NSC's intention to prevent the re-supply of Red Russian forces engaged against Blue Russian forces in the St. Petersburg district.
An EA-6B will be flying a racetrack orbit between the mission area and mother to provide stand-off jamming of any coastal radar SAMs.

Several new additional SA-10 sites have been detected further south down Kola and will be marked accordingly in your SA map, however they should not be a factor provided pilots don't stray south.Imagery and signals intelligence indicate that Red Russian forces have mobilized the 57th independent air defense regiment. Equipped with the low- to medium-altitude SA-11 mobile SAM system, this unit presents a high-threat to aircraft operating over the inlet areas of the Murmansk fjord.
Red Russian fighter patrols are expected to be flying over the Murmansk fjord area to interdict our forces conducting operations.
