PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Lead a flight of F/A-18Cs to intercept and escort away a Russian Tu-142 "BEAR" on a suspected sea reconnaissance mission. AWACS will be on station to provide intercept vectors.

ROE is WEAPONS TIGHT. Do not engage unless authorized by HOME PLATE (USS Stennis).


SECONDARY OBJECTIVE:
A mixed flight of F/A-18Cs and AV-8B Harriers are tasked (as available) to destroy an Iranian early warning facility nearby Char Bahar.
Intelligence reports suggest Iran is setting up a HAWK air defence system located 13 nm south-southwest of the EWR site - this is to be destroyed as well.
Expected surface to air threats are zero.
ROE is WEAPONS FREE.
WP 4 can be designated for precise strike on EWR facility

Mission Commander is Trim
Strike leader to be determined at briefing time provided enough pilots show up.

BRC is 286 degrees.
Winds are 3 knots at surface, 6 knots at 1600 ft, 7 knots at 6600 ft from the north, and 41 knots at 26,000 ft from the north west.
