SITUATION
NATO forces continue to slowly advance in the North towards the city of Aleppo.
As Syria increasingly finds itself on the defensive, it is feared that President Assad may to resort to desperate and unconventional methods to try to halt the allied advance.
Sources have identified a suspected chemical weapon’s research and development facility located in the largely abandoned village of Quabtin, located on the eastern shore of Sabkhat Reservoir, South of Aleppo.
Air taskers are diverting resources from further strikes against Aleppo targets to ensure this facility is targeted before Assad has a chance to employ any chemical or biological weapons.
MISSION
VFA-41 will take part in a dawn strike against this suspected chemical weapons research facility.
The facility is located at the northwest corner of the remote village of Quabtin [WP4] and consists of a tightly packed compound of four small buildings.
Weather should cooperate to facilitate a mid-high altitude strike with conventional or precision bombs. The village is largely deserted, except for workers and military personnel that work at the plant so collateral damage to civilian personnel and property in the area is not a major concern.
More of a concern is the presence of an SA-11 site that is still considered largely operational, located several miles to the NW of the target at [WP3].
If the SA-11 goes active, it’s radars at a minimum will need to be disabled to allow the strike aircraft to safely reach target
THREATS
No Mig Threat exists, as increasing allied air superiority at has largely kept Syrian Migs from venturing far from base at night/early morning.
The SA-11 site to the NW has been active in recent days. The strike package should be prepared to deal with this threat if needed.
ROE
Weapons free- All Syrian targets may be engaged.

Re: 08 May, 2022 - Damascus Dawn Week 17
Supply Officer just got back from leave and hasn't had time to go down into the bowels of the ship and count bombs/missiles.
Therefore, assume supplies will be the same as they were last week...
