Weather was low altitude thunderstorm with heavy wind, rain and turbulence with complete cloud cover at 900 ft. Fortunately flight stayed above the cloud deck and out of targeting from a carpet of MANPADs and hit their targets, and successfully recovered back aboard Stennis in inclement weather and in twilight and night.
