Optimum AOA for Range and Endurance

Was talking to Shadow about this the other day. Took me a while to figure out where I had gotten it before. Figured I'd save it here.
This is for the real Hornet, not sure if it is accurate in DCS.

I guess I don't know how a specific AOA can be related to maximum range or endurance. AOA is certainly related to aircraft weight, speed, and altitude.

Your FPAS page, however, is an excellent place for guidance on maximum range or endurance.

He said the altitude didn't make a difference. I would assume weight would to an extent. I figured it was a good rule of thumb number to get you in the ball park. The way said it made it sound like it was an absolute though. He's a former Hornet pilot, in case you aren't familiar with him on the forums.
