SITUATION
In order to be more prepared for the upcoming campaign, this week the squadron will practice finding and acquiring targets using laser spot search and tracking as well as buddy lasing a target after tracking it with the ATFLIR.

Once complete flights will RTB Nellis AFB per their designated arrival paths.
Each Dealer flight will operate independently on separate ranges with different targets.
MISSION
DEALER 1 flight will depart via Runway 3L utilizing the DREAM 6 Departure and working in the East Range.
Once both exercise operations are complete, Dealer 1 will RTB Nellis via the MMM1 (Mormon 1) Approach landing on Runway 3L.
DEALER 2 flight will depart via Runway 3L utilizing the DREAM 6 Departure and working in the North Central Range.
Once exercise operations are complete, Dealer 2 will RTB Nellis via the MMM1 (Mormon 1) Approach landing on Runway 3L.
DEALER 3 flight will depart via Runway 3L utilizing the FYTTR 7 Departure and working in the West Range.
Once exercise operations are complete, Dealer 3 will RTB Nellis via the BEATTY Visual Approach landing on Runway 3L.
Once on station at the anchor point WP 1, Dealer 1, 2 and 3 Flight Leads will then check in with Mission Commander on frequency 266.00 [3] for tasking orders and assignments.
Once cleared to their respective range, each flight will complete the tasks independently and report upon completion to MC for further tasking.
TASK 1:
Dealer flight will be directed to WP 2 where an AFAC will designate a target utilizing prescribed Squadron laser codes.
Each flight member must LSS / LST acquire their targets, then deliver a payload of AGM-65E onto each target.
Each flight member will have 2 targets.
TASK 2:
Task 2 will separate each flight into 2 pairs that will search between WP 3 to 4 for their respective targets, tracking that target and buddy lasing the target for the other to deliver a GBU-16.
Each target will be traveling at a reasonably easy speed to track.
Try to eliminate the target prior to it reaching its destination.
Upon completion of tasking, flights will be directed to their respective range exit points via assigned arrival plate and RTB Nellis.
2 Mission tankers are available if needed. TEXACO will be operating in the Eastern part of the range, SHELL will be operating in the Western part of the range.
