VFA-41 was tasked with four missions. Two BARCAP as well as escort for our E-2 and Tanker.
Because of limited resources, VFA-41 was forced to focus on the most important mission. VFA-41 launched as three flights, two for the BARCAP and one to provide protection for the E-2. Due to an incident on launch as well as the mysterious vanishing of one aircraft. Dealer 1 and Dealer 3 aircraft were combined into one flight to focus on the primary BARCAP mission.
Dealer 1 intercepted and destroyed a flight of four SU-24 Fencer bombers that were flying low level and heading straight toward the carrier group.
Dealer 2 investigated a radar target on the surface but due to the low cloud cover, was unable to identify it. Intel later suggests that it was civilian traffic.
Dealer 1:
Trim - 1x SU-24, trapped.
Rhino - Crashed on launch
Dealer 2:
Mad Dog - Trapped
Pounder - Disconnected (lost power)
Nocs - Trapped
Dealer 3:

Sunshine - 1x Su-24, Trapped
