23 AUG 2020 Squadron Training

Following the completion of Operation Tomb Fist, VFA-41 was ordered to conduct training in live fire air-to-ground weapons and in-flight refueling.
Unfortunately, some factions of the Iranian military did not get the memo that this was sanctioned training. Several Iranian warplanes intercepted and attacked the VFA-41 Hornets, which were not loaded for a protracted air battle. Several aircraft were lost on both sides when the dust settled.
Dealer 1
1 - Raid: gnd tgts, trapped.
2 - Mr. Bean: gnd tgts, trapped.
3 - Lion: 1x MiG-29, gnd tgts, trapped.
Dealer 2
1 - Ticman: gnd tgts, trapped.
2 - Mad Dog: gnd tgts, shot down by MiG-29.
3 - Nocs: gnd tgts, trapped.
Dealer 3
1 - Hedgehog: gnd tgts, 1x MiG-29, shot down by MiG-29.
2 - Shadow: gnd tgts, 1x MiG-29, shot down by MiG-29.
3 - Dirty Dan: gnd tgts, 1x MiG-29, shot down by MiG-29.
Training objectives were accomplished.
