The squadron was divided into Escort, SEAD, and Strike flights. All flights were engaged by MiG-21s, which seem to be virtually invisible to our AWACS and sensors. One Hornet was lost to a MiG-21, while another fell victim to a blue-on-blue friendly fire incident. All Su-24 bombers on the ground were destroyed, as well as the warehouse suspected to be holding the anti-ship missiles.
