VFA-41 tasked with bombing Islamic Emirate of the Caucasus ammo depots and warehouses located near Kutaisi with JDAM munitions.
Dealer 1-1 - Lion: primary targets hit, trapped.
Dealer 1-2 - Hedgehog: primary targets hit, trapped.
Weather was low altitude thunderstorm with heavy wind, rain and turbulence with complete cloud cover at 900 ft. Fortunately flight stayed above the cloud deck and out of targeting from a carpet of MANPADs and hit their targets, and successfully recovered back aboard Stennis in inclement weather and in twilight and night.
