Three flights of squadron Hornets departed Nellis and entered the Nevada Test and Training Range Complex, where each aircraft was assigned a specific Time on Target (ToT) to arrive over a simulated enemy training camp located in Range 62B.
Each pilot, upon receiving their ToT, timed their ingress accordingly-flying a prescribed low level route and then dropped live Mk-82 high drag munitions on the target.
Upon completion of their ordnance drop, all aircraft egressed to the west and then recovered as single ships Nellis AFB for debrief.
Post-mission analysis revealed that after flying the ~15 minute low level route, 9 of 10 squadron jets arrived within +/- five seconds of their prescribed ToT and all aircraft arrived within 15 seconds.
