3x flights of Hornets departed mother in quite particularly shitty weather conditions at 7 am local for a preplanned close air support strike at the border crossing between Syria and Jordan, seized and fortified by ISIL militants. All planes successfully released laser-guided bombs that were guided by offboard JTAC in the area to pummel targets, and all planes but one returned to mother in varying CASE conditions. CO was struck down by network/sim failure again.
