VFA-41 was tasked with preventing a Russian troop/supply drop over Senaki. VFA-41 launched Dealer 1, a flight of 5 Hornets. Dealer 1 aircraft split up initially, three going to the AO and two going to the tanker for fuel. As aircraft came back to the AO after refueling the lowest state aircraft was sent from the AO to the tanker, always keeping three aircraft in the AO.

It didn't take long to spot a line of transports heading south along the coast. As they approached the AO, they were all shot down. Unfortunately, a Dealer 1 aircraft got a little too far north and was shot down by an S-11.

All remaining flights returned to the carrier after remaining on station until the scheduled RTB time.
