[Mad Dog]

VFA-41 Was Tasked to destroy Tall Rack radar installation, codenamed Eye of Sauron. All flights were not to cross into Russian Air Space.

The attack was coordinated between 3 Flights Dealer 1 was tasked with eliminating the primary target using standoff weapons. Dealer 2 was to eliminate the SA-11 Threat to the primary strike flight. Dealer 3 was tasked with deploying TALDs to force SA-11 sites to emit radar to allow Dealer 2 weapons to target and destroy SA-11 emitters. Dealer 3 also performed BARCAP after deploying TALDS.

Dealer 3 departed from base to deploy TALDS, when entering the operating area enemy fighters turned hot. Dealer 2 diverted until such time the the operating area was clear to proceed safely. Dealer 3 engaged enemy fighters and successfully shot down enemy fighters to allow the attack to continue. one Dealer 3 aircraft Launched TALDs and Dealer 2 successfully launched and destroyed enemy SA-11 sites. While Dealer 2 was deploying weapons enemy fighters engaged Dealer 2 and was able to down 2 VFA-41 aircraft manned by Maniac and Crash, their family will be notified of their heroic contribution and ultimate sacrifice. Ground Forces also eliminated a SU-24 Enemy fighter targeting Dealer 1 aircraft while Dealer 1 was ingressing to launch point. Dealer 1 launched weapons at the designated launch point and destroyed the primary target. All remaining aircraft were to return to base. Upon egress one remaining low flying enemy fighter was attempting to target Dealer 1 as they were returning to base. The last remaining Dealer 2 pilot targeted and destroyed enemy fighter. All remaining aircraft landed at base.

Those pilots that crossed into Russia will need to explain your actions as that may have sparked the enemy fighter response. Investigation to follow.
