VFA-41 was tasked with destruction of a vehicle repair facility outside the town of Aziziyah. Targets consisted of three supply storage warehouses and the main repair shop. Defending the area was a few know AAA emplacements. Also a target was the remaining search radar of the SA-10 site that was hit last week.

VFA-41 manned three flights. Dealer 1 consisted of two aircraft that would go in first and try to identify and eliminate the AAA emplacements. Dealer 2, a flight of 4, was to then hit the primary buildings. Dealer 3's three aircraft were to provide air cover if need as well as target the search radar with HARMs if able.

Weather down low was not good. Low ceilings and rain prevented a high level attack. Fortunately, as approaching the target area the rain let up and visibility improved. Dealer 1 was able to use the ATFLIR to create GPS targeting points for all three AAA emplacements, although two close to drop at the time, the points were saved and JDAMs were then dropped from altitude without having to get too close. All three emplacements were destroyed just in time for Dealer 2 to show up and deliver LGBs on the primary targets, destroying all of them.

Dealer 3 encountered no A/A resistance and was able to launch HARMs on emitters at the site of the SA-10, but unfortunately all fell short of the target.

All aircraft returned to and recovered aboard CVN-73.
