Flight of 6 F/A-18s departed from the CV-59 Forrestal for airstrikes on IRGC and Syrian forces camped out in the Lebanese town of Baalbek, located inside a cluster of UNESCO World Heritage buildings dating back to the Roman Empire. Dealer 2 - Strike flight climbed to 35,000 feet and ingressed at high subsonic speed from WP2 to drop pairs of Walleyes on the target site from 15 nm out to avoid SAM threats but BDA revealed the bombs missed by miles, unfortunately.
As Dealer 2 was egressing they were engaged by a pair of MiG-23 Floggers and requested help from the nearby anchoring Dealer 1 - CAP flight. Dealer 1 turned to engage and a small WVR dogfight ensued, with 2 Floggers being shot down by Dealer 1.

All aircraft RTB'd safely and performed a CASE 1 recovery, with the exception of Dealer 1-3 trapping at an angle and plowing into the parked Dealer 2 jets on the bow catapult and starting a fire.

1-3 Maniac: crashed on deck.
1-4 Mad Dog: booted from server after 1-3's crash
