VFA-41 was tasked with disrupting Syrian reinforcements attempting to retake Hatay Airport.

VFA-41 sent three flights of Hornets. Dealer 1 & 2 were each assigned a kill box in which they were to eliminate any ground forces they could find. Dealer 3 was tasked with A/A cover for both friendly forces on the ground as well as Dealer 1 and 2.

Dealer 1 and 2 were able to find and kill several ground vehicles. Two Mig-29s approached from the east. One was destroyed by Dealer 3 while also loosing one of their own in the engagement. The other Mig managed to engage the ground attack flights but was taken out by an Air Force CAP patrol who also shot down one of the Dealer 1 aircraft.

One aircraft was also lost on recovery due to fuel starvation.

In the end several enemy ground force vehicles were destroyed, but three aircraft were lost in the process. The mission was a success, but with heavy losses.
