While on a reconnaissance mission a US F15E Strike Eagle suffered two engine failures leading to both catching fire and causing the jet to explode shortly after. Luckily both the pilot and the WSO ejected safely but unfortunately their landing was not as lucky as they would've hoped for because their last transmission stated that there was an island just below them and the only island along their route was an abandoned island called Farur about 14nm off the shore of Iran which whom we are at war with currently.
Our goal today is to secure the island and ensure the US Army CSAR team makes it in safely and rescues the downed pilot and the WSO. We do not know what kind of resistance to expect but we know for sure that the Iranians definitely know that they are there. Expect forces coming from the water and forces from the skies. Thankfully the closest Iran Army Airbase is Lar Airbase which does not have any fighters only helicopters so we can properly assume they will be on their way to the island with ground troops aboard. The ROE's for this mission is as follows: Weapons Free meaning if it comes within sight or looks like it is headed towards the island destroy it immediately.
