TIME: NOV 10, 2019, 1700L launch.
WEATHER: Partly cloudy. Surface wind N.E. @5, Wind aloft N. @10.
LOCATION: Persian Gulf

MISSION:
The VFA-41 Black Aces will launch flights to intercept and eliminate an AN-26B "Curl-A" cargo plane carrying high value military officers. VFA-41 Dealer 1 will fly Strike and intercept the target near WP#7. A HAWK SAM at WP#6 will have to be supressed. VFA-41 Dealer 2 will fly SEAD and disable the HAWK SAM. VFA-41 Dealer 3 will fly a Fighter Sweep along the south IRAN coast to attempt to draw some escort fighters away from the primary target AN-26B. ROE = Weapons Free for Iran military units.
Flight length = 440 nm.

SITUATION:
Credible intelligence has provided the flight plans of senior officers of a radical hardline faction of the Iran military leadership. Elimination of these officers will greatly assist in the on going negotiations for a peaceful settlement to this conflict. They will be flying in a An-26B "Curl-A" refurbished for their comfort. They will have Mig-29 fighter escort. The flight plan takes them from Bandar-e-Jask Airfield to Bandar Abbas Intl AirPort. A 35 minute flight at the An-26B's best speed of 295 Kts. A 40 NM stretch of the flight will be protected by a HAWK SAM recently relocated closer to the coast and not yet fully operational. Several of the HAWK M192 launchers have not been transported to the new location. Disabling this SAM, after Dealer 3 (SWEEP) draws escort away, will give a strike flight a clear path to intercept the primary target AN-26B "Curl-A" and any remaining escorts. VFA-41 Dealer 3 will fly a Fighter Sweep to the south of Bandar-e-Jask Airfield as a diversion and attempt to draw some escort fighters away from the primary target.

MISSION NOTE: Flights should orbit near WP#2 until all flights are ready to proceed. Dealer 3 (SWEEP) should be about 3 - 4 minutes ahead when arriving at WP#3. Then all flights proceed on waypoint paths at a similar speed. Mach .82 @ Angels 30 is fuel efficient and lends itself well to the mission timing.
