MISSION:
Two Flights of F/A-18Cs will launch and will arrive at the target area (WP 4) prior to 0935L to secure the area for the SAR Huey (Colt 1 -1). The USS Tarawa (LHA-1) is inbound to meet the SAR Huey (Colt 1 -1) after the pilot is recovered. Colt 1 -1 will message all Coalition Units when the pilot is safely onboard the USS Tarawa.
SITUATION: A pilot is down in a hostile area. A SAR Huey has been dispatched and is ingressing. The USS Tarawa is also ingressing to receive the SAR Huey and pilot after he is recovered. Hostile aircraft and armed small water craft are mobilizing in the rescue area. A Molniya-class missile corvette is reported moving south east toward the recovery search area from the north west. The CVN-74 Stennis has been ordered to scramble two flights of the VFA-41 Black Aces to ingress and secure the search area before the SAR arrives.
