I agree with the guy on the DCS forums who said, 'Is it worth the money? Yes, though it is still the worst map in DCS.'

We now know there's a reason why all of the trailers were from 10,000-20,000 feet. The mountains and clouds look really good. Lower than that, the ground detail is not even on par with the Caucuses map, which is pretty disappointing considering the time spent in development and the time that has passed since DCS was originally released.

I think they were originally developing just the Falkland Islands at the time, but later expanded it to what we have today.
